One year I did a lot of yard work for pay and I pulled up hundreds of thistles. But seeing it photographed that way makes me see it in a new light. Even thistles have beauty!
I might like to use this graphic. I am working on the website for my book and I'm having a bit of a vision of a place it would work.

Oh, yeah! Thistles! I forgot what they were called. They are quite hideous looking from a distance but interesting up close. You can have the graphic, Cheesemeister, I just couldn't think of anything else to post.
And Ariel, it is nice that you see only beauty in nature. Just wait until you have to do yard work!
I am so lucky I have to do yard work only if I want to and even then I have to find a yard first. :) but that thing you call weed is beautiful and exotic like it came from sci-fi!
I actually like Thistles. 'Course I like roses better, but they're both good.
