Standing In Shadows

Ariel, there was a brother and sister who were in their 30's that lived together as a couple and would come visit my wife. They would talk about a lizard man who lived in their neighborhood and would come up out of their toilet and attack the girl, beating and raping her, as well as tearing up furniture and breaking windows. Reminded me of the movie version (Come Firewalk With Me) of a tv show (Twin Peaks). The guy talked "at" us, not really listening to anything my wife or I said to him (like the FBI agent in the movie who was deaf). But the guy would talk about people we don't know and situations we couldn't understand. He said the lizard man forced his sister to take drugs so he could control her. She was frequently committed to a hospital for the mentally ill which is now more nicely called rehab. My wife and I would whisper to each other that he was the one who should be committed, but in a prison. Around Christmas one year, the guy brought us presents: he gave my wife a little plastic coffin with R.I.P. (Rest In Peace) on it, and gave me a Batman action figure. In the comic book genre, Batman is a sinister, evil, crazy man with a split personality fighting villains who are likewise sinister and evil with distorted personalities. As we look at stories throughout history, Mythology, fairy tales, and literature are basically about flawed individuals conflicting with even more flawed individuals. Since he gave me that little rubber figure of Batman, I began reading more on the subject to try and figure what it all means. I still don't really understand it and it scares me. It all emerged again when you said, "If you stand in the shadows, your life will stand in the shadows with you." An enlightening statement.Yes, Batman does need to be put down, finally.

The Bad Pictures

It can really be a challenge sometimes to get a shot of your pet!

Right as I go to snap, they move in toward me wanting a close-up.

Or they move suddenly like Icy shaking her head.

Or they walk out of the frame just as I click.

Or she decides to take a dump all of a sudden.

And usually they turn to show their less flattering side.

Cat On Computer

A cat came in our house and refuses to leave. It seems to be turning into a real geek. It loves to get on the computer.

The Answer

The pictures of the trash bins, the truck and the tree were all three taken yesterday! So if you picked any one of them, you were right! The school was taken last month as you can tell by the leaves on the tree. That was the only wrong answer. This proves absolutely that ESP and psychic powers are real. Thank you, my psychic friends!

Which Picture Taken Yesterday?

I took one of these pictures yesterday. I just now pulled the others from my folders. I concentrated on the picture I took yesterday and tried to send it to the other side of the world mentally. Use your psychic ability and pick it out.
1. School or school sign
2. A tree
3. Dumpsters or trash bins
4. Truck or tire or vehicle

Put your choice and any other thoughts in the comments. I'll post the right one later.

Karishma Injured

We wish Karishma or Amhsiak a speedy recovery after receiving a head injury from a flying stool that shot out unexpectedly. It left a large knot on her head, and we think that the blow to her head might have stimulated psychic abilities. So this afternoon I went out and took a picture of something in the neighborhood and will meditate and sleep on it and give her time to likewise sleep and see if the image can be transmitted to the other side of the world through the ethers and like that. If anyone else knows how to hack the psychic astral internet and intercepts the transmission, you can enter your guess in the comments. Tomorrow after we do all that hocus pocus stuff, and meditation and sleep, I will post several photos including the one I took and am trying to send psychically and she or anyone can pick the right one out, which I know she will do! I have faith. I believe! Well, sort of. A little. I guess there is such a thing as luck. So I got to go meditate now. Well, actually I need a nap. I'm old, you know. Until tomorrow, lets concentrate and do this! Come on psychics of the world, unite!

Give Me A Smile!

This is a picture Indie took. He said he fixed the 'red eye'. But we thought we might go a step further and see if we could fix the mouth by getting her to smile. Oh, well, we tried.

Icy Enjoys A Snack

I had a pretty nice little video camera back in 2002 when I took this slow motion shot of Icy eating biscuits. Someone broke in and stole the camera shortly after that. It was the boyfriend of a girl who lived next door. We never got the camera back.

50 Years In The Making

Over fifty years ago when I was about nine or ten, I was fascinated with Disney animation, especially when they put cartoon characters with live action film of people. Cheesemeister mentioned how she enjoyed Roger Rabbit, a cartoon/film where they did that. Lately I have been experimenting with animation, trying to learn something by doing. I was able to put an animated character over a still photo, but finally, this is my first attempt to mix live action film with animation. It's really complicated. This was just an experiment.

I tried another one HERE.
