Cheesemeister (as Kuddly Kitten) and myself seemed to have the impression the gargoyle was bad and going to eat the poor bird. But Ariel, Nessa and Terry saw it as good and wanting to show affection. The interpretation of a picture or even a poem or story can vary from different people. Like they say about eye-witnesses: each person sees an incident from their own unique perspective and background.
